Competition for dance solos and duos

Barnes Crossing is staging the German preliminary rounds of the yearly international Szoloduo Fesztival in its studios in the “Wachsfabrik” in a co-operation frame with the Orkesztika Foundation (Budapest).

Wanted: six-minute solo choreographic pieces and nine minute duo- choreographic pieces.

In contrast to many other choreographic competitions, the Budapest Szoloduo Fesztival focuses on artistic exchange. At the heart of the festival are the discussion groups that take place after each round with the German and Hungarian members of the jury. 

The winners of the pre nominating round will present their productions together with the winners of the preliminary rounds from Poland and The Czech Republic at the SzoloDuo Festival in Budapest.
